3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Tour

OVERVIEW

This 3 days Gorilla tour takes you to the Northern province of Volcanoes National park in Rwanda. The park is characterized by rainforest and 5 of the 8 volcanoes by the names of Muhabura, Karisimbi

ITINERARY

Depending on your location either at the airport or in a hotel, our driver guide from friendly Wilderness will welcome and pick you up for a transfer to Volcanoes national park with a precise briefing. On the way, you will have a brief tour around Kigali City where you will explore craft markets, Kigali Genocide Memorial center among others dependingly. Have enroute lunch and embark on a 2- 3 hours journey to the home of gorillas at the park. check-in at the booked lodge and have a night’s rest for the entire tour.

Meal plan:
half board.

After a morning breakfast, you will be picked up with packed lunch and transferred to the briefing point with other trekkers where you are cautioned about the activity. Later, you will be divided into different gorilla trekking groups and commence with the help of the guide. The activity can even take you up to a full day depending on their movement. Return to the lodge for dinner and a night’s rest as on day one.

After a tasty breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to the villages to have a taste of the Rwandese culture. Yi will visit the gorilla guardians known as the Iby’iwacu who contribute greatly to gorilla conservation. After the encounter, embark on a journey heading back to either the airport for a flight or back to a hotel in Kigali marking the end of the tour.
